Peace as touch winds around us

The wind is gentle like a sheet upon us

She watches as the stars take their places above
I watch her peaceful eyes

The reflecting oceans of diamonds in them
The whispers in the night of her soft eyes
The coursing of unspoken touch between us

The gentle rhythmic play of our bodies in the air
Naked to the sky and to the earth

Close to one another

Joining with a whispered touch

Caught into the rhythms of the wind

Holding lightly in the brightness of the stars
Lips meeting between the earth and sky

A gentle sky and earth as we touch

Bathed in the evening touch

Held together in quiet nearness

Absorbing the still motion of our bodies
Feeling the peace of touch around us
And silently between our eyes

Whispering in ways the sky

Has sent upon the wind

To earth for us to feel our love.

Chasing after a welcome light,

Singing a song like to his.

I embrace you like an unopened envelope

Forever holding its letter: your heart

Which I possess in all humility

Like a poor man blessed with abundance

Of happiness and love

Ever thankful for his simple blessings;

Or like the man I am,

Filled with love for you,

A love devoid of self-pride

But rising gloriously nonetheless

In the shared pride of our life together

Concentrates in your eyes

And shines back to mine,

Streaming through my mind

To where I think of what is lovely;

To where I feel the loveliness in your eyes.

Your kiss-- the fleeting whisper of your soul --

Hints of the way toward your heart

Held close in our embrace,

Caressing me with its pulse,

Hypnotizing me with its peaceful rhythm

In a dream of ascent and freedom:

Rising as I fall into your arms;

Free while held close by you.

We look upon the wonders of nature,

A flower,

A drop of dew,

In awe at the intricate craft of the Creator.

I look at you

Amazed at the infinite blessings bestowed

When the Creator crafted you for me.

Our love divides us from the world

So that we stand apart from it

By ourselves with our love in a separate place,

A garden really,

Where the fruit of the tree of life

Is our daily feast;

Where the innocence of our eternal union

Helps us to forget the knowledge of evil.

Sunbeams dance in your eyes

And stir my passion;

Graceful leaps of sun in summer rhythms

Flash in your eyes;

Raise me from a wintry slumber,

Lift me to midsummer's dawning,

And make me new.

Peaceful light reaches out

From in your eyes,

To hold me transfixed in timeless moments

That never pass from memory,

Hypnotic moments

When you hold me forever,

Gazing far into the universe behind your eyes.
