Overwhelmed with nothing challenging, newly minted untouchables feel the world’s spite.
Broadcasts of great import about this are transmitted on frequencies to which nobody listens.
We’re living in a world of monads pretending to be members of tribes.
Introspection requires reflection. We see our faces only if they are reflected back from the face of another; only if there’s a mirror held up to show us ourselves.
Connections are artifacts of transitory data that no longer binds together. We feel connected only when something we say or do makes us recognize ourselves. Without echos we are insensible.
Many of us — like network terminals — are linked to a network; but have no utility apart from sending our redundant node’s programmed identity and task to the network when asked. As reward for such dedicated service, we’re satisfied to see a light displayed somewhere affirming that we’re still nominally connected.
By some existential anomaly, touch induces reflexive recoiling in those to whom it is extended. Intimacy is an oasis afar off from where most are seen to be in crossing life's deserts.
(The privilege of isolated identity makes it a resource protected energetically, with a vigor sufficient to stoke the fires of hell.)
Alone and lonely is the point of convergence for contemporary and future mankind; all flesh made of the same unregenerate stuff as sinners always are.
When love is made finite – explained and made to fit economic, utilitarian, and behavioral models – all becomes ephemeral, and then disposable.
When we shackle LOVE — the essential, free and limitless virtue — and parade it in a straitjacket... absurdity becomes the explanation for everything.
There’s no reasonable or enduring purpose for destruction (especially self-destruction) by selfish acts of destruction indulged by destroying selflessness. Rejection of faith in sacrificial love severs the lifeline to redemption.
[Even if reduced to and labelled covetousness for desiring "the prize" (the treasure buried in the field purchased by selling all else) the value given to "the prize" by self-annihilation cannot be diminished.
The envy of cynics is powerless to diminish the power of love to overcome a multitude of sins. The absolute power of "the way, the truth and the life" Who "IS love" to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil can never be diminished, diverted or dissolved.]
NOTES
1. “Mosaic” (mosaicism) is understood as disparate elements assembled to form a picture.
2. Inspiration from the line “disjointed but with purpose” from the song “Dance of the Dawn - The Revealing Science of God” by progressive rock band Yes.
3. “Absurdity” (describing LOVE shackled — which is an idol of man's making; which is a denial of God) is seen for example in the scientific statement, “The Big Bang is the source of everything”. In other words, everything formed — and all existing information —comes from annihilation of a singularity (necessarily created -- since God didn't destroy Himself to create the universe). Science knows there is "something before light". It needs to catch up on the evident truth that "In the beginning God created..."
